Chemical Peels
At Milwaukee Laser and Body Aesthetics we take the time to find chemical peels that meet the unique needs of our patients.
PCA Skin® chemical peels are good for all skin types. The basic function of a chemical peel is to exfoliate the skin and regenerate healthy, new skin cells and collagen, and can be performed at varying levels into the skin depending on your needs. Regular peels will help to brighten the skin, improve skin texture, minimize discoloration such as post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and melasma, and reduce the signs of aging.
During a chemical peel, a solution will be applied to your face. This safe, gentle product will be left on your skin for a carefully chosen amount of time, allowing the chemicals to penetrate upper, damaged skin cells. Your body's natural healing process will cause the top layer or layers of your skin to dry and slough off over the next few days. Damage and aesthetic blemishes are located in these top tissues. As the old skin is removed, the smoother, younger skin beneath can be revealed.
Along with regular treatments, a daily skin care regimen is critical to achieving goals and maintaining skin health.
We offer three types of PCA Skin® peels:

Sensi Peel®: This gentle solution is formulated primarily for ethnic skin, and other extremely sensitive skin types as well as patients who want gradual lightening, but instant tightening. The results will strengthen and brighten the skin while helping to treat sun damage and other forms of hyperpigmentation (skin discoloration.) This multi-faceted treatment also provides anti-inflammatory, anti-acne and antibacterial action, making it an excellent choice for helping calm rosacea, as redness and inflammation can subside substantially after treatment.

Ultra Peel®: Specially formulated to treat dehydrated and maturing skin. Ultra Peel® is also appropriate to help treat smoker’s skin, pigment disorders, sun damage, acne, and skin with uneven surface texture and laxity. Moderate to aggressive exfoliation will be experienced, depending on the number of layers applied. Overall, the final result will be plump, hydrated and ultra-soft skin.

PCA Peel®: Extremely effective for sun damage, active or cystic acne and asphyxiated skin (dry surface, oily underneath). It’s the ideal choice for sun damaged, oily, thicker, and more resilient skin types and will soften the appearance of surface lines, help promote a clear complexion, smooth skin texture, and even skin tone.
