Hair Removal Treatments
Treatment selectively targets dark, coarse hair while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged. The pulsed light injures the hair follicle in the epidermis, affecting the follicle’s ability to grow hair. Each pulse can treat many hairs at the same time in an area approximately the size of a quarter. Most patients have nearly permanent hair loss after an average of eight to twelve sessions.
Most hair removal treatments should be spaced 4-8 weeks apart, depending on the area of the body. It’s important to prioritize maintaining the treatment regimen for the best results.
